Sasanki Tennakoon is a multi-disciplinary artist working primarily with text and illustration in an installation-based practice that seeks to combine her interests in human communication and ephemeral art. Through her practice she aims to explore and play with what lingers on our peripheries: the stories which we identify ourselves with, anchor ourselves to, define ourselves by and the layers of honesty we apply to those histories.

Sasanki is also interested in creating conduits for dialogue between people, communities and has an interest in socially engaged projects.
