Curator and object designer, Michelle Genders, curated an ambitious series of seven exhibitions at Sydney's Gaffa Gallery in 2014 & 2015. I was generously invited to contribute a mural installation for the fourth exhibition, Let Your Hair Down which featured intricate and eclectic jewellery from artists in Taipei, Taiwan.

In the interest of a short turnover between exhibitions we decided to use charcoal for the mural and the concept design under went a few versions before Michelle's curatorial vision led us to the final outcome.
There were challenges getting the charcoal OFF but largely it was a successful experiment and definitely the largest scale I have worked on to date. The process was a learning curve and a fantastic experience- I am infinitely grateful to Michelle for the opportunity.
